NHL Eliminator Rules
About NHL Weekly Eliminator Pools
In our NHL Eliminator pools, you start the first round by picking one team that will win outright each week – no point spreads, just the win.
If your team loses or ties, you are eliminated. If the team you picked wins (overtime counts) you move to the next round.
Next week, pick a different team and continue until you are the only player left standing or the regular season ends. If there is more than one person left at the end of the regular season, the prize will be divided equally.
Remember, you can only pick each NHL team once per contest– choose carefully, and make sure you pay attention to the game schedule and have a team to pick!
NHL Weekly Eliminator Pools: General Rules
- Each week, pick one team to win outright (point spreads are irrelevant). If that team wins, you move on. If that team loses or ties, you are out.

- You cannot pick the same team more than once per season.
- You must pick your team at least one minute before the scheduled start of the final game to be played in that week.
- If you fail to pick a team, you will be automatically eliminated from the contest.
- The prize pool will be awarded to the last player(s) remaining at the end of the regular season.
NHL Weekly Eliminator Pools: Prize Pools
There are two types of prize pool in NHL Weekly Eliminator Pools.
Rolling Prize Pools
These prize pools increase as more players enter the pool. These pools may have a player cap, but will begin as soon as two or more players join.
